The first Friday of October, 2022 was the third Magic at Barmacy in Highland Square, Akron Ohio.

There was an eager, happy, thirsty, and hungry crowd:

Don Strongoli was the MC this month, and by all accounts did a wonderful job. He arrived early, set up and tested all of the sound equipment, put up Magic at Barmacy posters, and greeted early guests.

Don started the evening show off with welcome messages, and a funny MC tightrope, vertigo bit. YHTBT.

The first performer was Nick Eaton, a cheerful magi with an infectious laugh. He did some crazy spectator things.

And then there was a surprising plate spinning. (I've never seen that live on stage before!)

Time for drink refills, close-up magic, and carousing.

Smiles and drinks galore.

Next up was Don Strongoli as MC again with more news, another funny MC bit, and an introduction of the next performer.

Trent Rapp and a lovely assistant caused matches to change both colors and places.

And cards were mysteriously revealed to the delight of all.

As usual, it was a strange and wonderful evening.

Thanks to Walid Loutfi, Peter Lucke, Susan Campbell, Rebecca Gearhart and Bill Bishop for the pictures this month.
