Dave Hudspath is the regular host of the 10 PM Las Vegas style
Bar Magic at Barmacy in Akron, Ohio. Dave is well known among area
magicians for his creative approach to magic. Beyond that, Dave is
just a nice, friendly guy who loves to share the magic that he
knows. And he knows a LOT OF MAGIC.
Dave first became interested in the magical arts when he read a
book about Houdini in the fifth grade. Dave dreamed of becoming a
great escape artist, but after several death defying incidents he
decided that card tricks might offer a safer future.
Now Dave performs wonderful close-up magic with cards, coins,
ropes, dollar bills and lots of other small objects. He is always
thinking of new magic effects and new magic methods. In fact, he
hosts a regular Akron Magic Roundtable event that is quite popular
among local magicians.
Over the next few months (and years?) Dave will introduce us to a
wide variety of magic and magicians. Join us on the first Friday
of every month, when Magic at Barmacy suddenly appears in Akron,
Ohio.
